Supporting St Catherine's
Fundraising at St Catherine’s School
The income from fees, combined with the ever decreasing financial support from Government grants, supports salaries, maintenance, minor building projects and normal operating expenditure. We rely on the generosity of our current parents, Old Girls, past parents and friends to fund new buildings and projects which ensure that St Catherine’s remains at the forefront of girls’ education in Australia.
The responsibility for fundraising at St Catherine’s School lies with the Development Committee which coordinates the capital fundraising at the School, thereby establishing a continuing, wholly integrated culture of philanthropy within the School community.
The Development Committee works closely with the Development and Community Liaison Coordinator to:
- promote a culture of giving and philanthropy with the School community
- encourage and facilitate gifts to the School
- recognise those members of the School community who support the School.
