Illawarra House

Illawarra was built in the 1880's and is leased to St Catherine's School by the National Trust. In 1997 this magnificent mansion was fully restored. Facilities for the boarders include comfortable and spacious bedrooms sleeping two to six girls, in which each has her own bed, wardrobe with lockable drawer, pin board and chest of drawers. Spacious study areas, a large recreation room with pool table, dining room and common rooms with colour televisions and lounge chairs provide girls with excellent recreation and study facilities. Girls may prepare snacks and weekend breakfasts in the kitchen and full laundry facilities are provided.
